In the true spirit of the festive season, Shangri-La Rasa Sayang, Penang, hosted a special Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony recently.
The evening was filled with festive cheer, meaningful connections and a shared commitment to giving back to the community.
A highlight of the evening was the special performance by the Eden Handicap Service Centre, whose members will present a song and dance showcase. Their presence and talent embody the spirit of inclusivity and celebration that defines the season.
This year’s celebration extends beyond festivities with a heartfelt Christmas Giving Initiative. Shangri-La Rasa Sayang is organising a donation drive to support five children battling cancer at Penang General Hospital. These children, aged between 20 months and 13 years, come from low-income families and are in urgent need of financial assistance for their medical treatment and care.
Guests can also play their part by extending their donations at box placed at the Garden Wing Lobby.
