The Penang state government has decided to offer the moratorium for water bills for 2021, assessment fee, quit rent and business license fees for 2021.
Penang state exco for Tourism and Creative Economy, Yeoh Soon Hin said that the state government is concerned about the needs of the tourism industry.
“We hope that these initiatives will the relevant parties to overcome the financial difficulties following the Covid-19 pandemic.
“Tourism industry players who are interested in applying for the moratorium can submit a written application to the relevant agencies for further consideration,” said Yeoh in a press statement today.
