Resorts World Langkawi, owned and operated by Genting Malaysia Berhad (“Genting Malaysia”) and ONE°15 Marina, a subsidiary of SUTL Enterprise Limited (“SUTL”), announced a strategic collaboration to develop ONE°15 Marina Langkawi, a new marina destination that will strengthen Langkawi’s position as a premier yachting and marine tourism hub in Southeast Asia.
With more than 90 berths and superyacht berthing capacity of up to 140 feet, ONE°15 Marina Langkawi is expected to welcome its first yachts in the second half of 2027, offering exceptional marina facilities to yacht owners, charter operators and leisure travellers while expanding regional cruising infrastructure.
The marina is located in Langkawi, the “Jewel of Kedah”, at the heart of a spectacular 99-island archipelago and Southeast Asia’s first UNESCO Global Geopark. Renowned for its ancient limestone formations, pristine beaches, rainforest-covered mountains and rich biodiversity, Langkawi has become one of the region’s most sought-after tourism and cruising destinations.
Upon completion, ONE°15 Marina Langkawi will serve as a gateway to the island’s celebrated cruising grounds, offering access to yacht charters, island-hopping adventures, sunset cruises and bespoke marine experiences. Visitors will also enjoy seamless access to the hospitality, accommodation, dining and entertainment offerings of Resorts World Langkawi.
Strategically positioned along the Andaman Sea between Singapore and Phuket, Langkawi is a natural stopover for yachts navigating one of Southeast Asia’s most established cruising routes. Supported by strong tourism infrastructure, international connectivity and duty-free status, the destination is well positioned for continued growth in marine tourism and waterfront experiences.

Lee Thiam Kit, President, Genting Malaysia Berhad, said: “Resorts World Langkawi has always been committed to creating unique experiences that celebrate the beauty and character of the island. Through our collaboration with ONE°15 Marina, we look forward to enhancing Langkawi’s appeal as a premier island tourism destination, offering visitors new ways to explore the island and its surrounding waters. This partnership also supports the Langkawi Development Authority’s vision of strengthening Langkawi’s position as a world-class tourism destination, by enriching the island’s tourism offerings and contributing to the sustainable growth of its maritime and leisure sectors.”
Arthur Tay, Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer of SUTL Enterprise Limited, said: “The development of ONE°15 Marina Langkawi represents an important milestone in the continued expansion of our marina network and reinforces our commitment to developing exceptional waterfront destinations across Asia. Strategically located along the Andaman Sea, between our existing marinas in ONE°15 Marina Sentosa Cove in Singapore and ONE°15 Marina Panwa Phuket in Thailand, Langkawi will strengthen a natural yachting route for boaters to plan seamless cruising holidays across these connected destinations. Our regional marina footprint is carefully curated, each defined by a distinct personality and experience, delivering consistently high marina standards, offering members and the wider yachting community a diverse yet cohesive range of exceptional lifestyle-led marina experiences across the region.”
The collaboration brings together complementary expertise to shape ONE°15 Marina Langkawi into a distinctive new waterfront destination for travellers, yacht owners and the larger yachting community.
