The Tourism Malaysia Northern Region office organized a gathering with the tour and travel industry players at the Olive Tree Hotel in Bayan Lepas recently.
In all, some 110 participants took part in the lively and vibrant session. The participants were from all over the country.
Lending presence was Tourism Malaysia director for Northern Region, Shahrul Aman and his deputy Siti Hajar.
Many of the participants were also taking part in the Matta Fair Penang which was held recently at the Setia SPICE Arena.
Among the presenters were the general manager of Belum Rainforest Resort (Perak), Zainuddin Abu Hassan, Lalang Resort and Spa (Kelantan), director, Laila Mohd Adham, Tiarasa Escapes Glamping Resort (Pahang), chief experience officer, Shaza Sofia, Unic Astana Holidays (Perlis), director, Anas Akmal Arshad, representative from Olive Tree Hotel among others.
The gathering offered a platform for industry stakeholders to network and plan events and activities for the tourism industry.
The gathering also served to promote the upcoming Visit Perlis Year 2024 and Visit Perak Year 2024.
