Rasa Sayang bags ‘Spa of the Year’ award

IT was a proud moment for Rasa Sayang Resort & Spa when their their spa, CHI, was recognised as the Spa of the Year by Pevonia Malaysia.

The latter is the sole distributor of the Pevonia Botanica range of beauty and spa products. 

The award was established in 1991 and given only to spa operators that adopt the right approach of treatments using only natural ingredient products. 

Pevonia Botanica is a leading international spa products brand association with prestigious spa and salons worldwide and trusted by trained aestheticians for restoring, rejuvenating and revitalising all skin types during treatment.

CHI’s spa director, Joshua Tan received the awards from the founder of Pevonia Malaysia, Yam Wai Kiat at the official ceremony held in Kuala Lumpur recently. 

Hong Kong-based Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts currently operates over 100 hotels with a room inventory of over 41,000. Shangri-La hotels are five-star deluxe properties featuring extensive luxury facilities and services. 

Shangri-La hotels are located in Australia, Canada, mainland China, Fiji, France, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Maldives, Mauritius, Mongolia, Myanmar, Philippines, Qatar, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Sultanate of Oman, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey, the United Arab Emirates and the United Kingdom.

The group has a substantial development pipeline with upcoming projects in mainland China, Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, Saudi Arabia and Sri Lanka.
