The annual fund raising dinner hosted by the Pertubuhan Kebajikan Setia Ikhlas Pulau Pinang (PKSIPP) was held at the Berjaya Hotel Penang.

More than 500 guests from Singapore, Melaka, Kuala Lumpur, Langkawi, Bukit Mertajam gathered for the good cause.

Guest-of-honour was State Exco for Housing and Environment Dato Seri Sundarajoo Somu along with state assemblyman for Pulau Tikus Joshua Woo..

He was welcomed by the president of PKSIPP, Dato Aloysius Gasper and his committee members.

In his address Sundarajoo thanked Dato Aloysius and his team for hosting such an event for the needy.

“Our country is blessed and everyone can “cari makan” to feed themselves and also do some charity to help the needy and the underprivileged “, he added.

Earlier, Aloysius thanked generous donors and support for the fundraising dinner.

“Our theme tonight is simple yet powerful: Support a Cause. Savor. Celebrate. Tonight, we share a meal, but also the moment. Let us savor the food, the conversations and the shared spirit of giving. Because fundraising is not just about money—it’s about people. It’s about connecting, sharing stories, and understanding that we’re all woven into the same human fabric.

“We celebrate the victories we have already achieved together in the past three years because of your support,” he added.

They also gave out RM1,000 donation each to nine charitable homes in the city. Other highlights included a live band performance, lucky draw session and an art auction. Also present was Dato Baldev Bhar, Datin Gwendolyn, Datin Jennifer and a host of other guests.
