The Olive Tree Hotel proudly hosted its inaugural Malay Bridal Fair Showcase, themed ““Dua Hati Bersatu” which brought together a vibrant mix of vendors, traders, and wedding industry professionals.
The event created a dynamic platform for guests and soon-to-be-wed couples to explore the best of what the Malay wedding scene has to offer — all under one roof.
Attendees were treated to a wide array of exhibitors including bridal organisers, professional makeup artists, runway models, wedding caterers, florists, jewellers, and many others. One of the key highlights was the live bridal fashion show, where models graced the runway in a stunning display of both traditional and modern Malay wedding attire.
The fair was more than just a visual feast — it was an educational and cultural experience.
Guests enjoyed live cultural performances, engaged in hands-on workshops covering wedding planning, budgeting, and ceremonial customs and had the opportunity to sit down for personal consultations with experienced wedding planners. To add to the excitement, there were exclusive promotional offers, lucky draws, and special bridal package deals available only during the event.

In addition to the vibrant showcase, guests were invited to explore the hotel’s facilities through guided tours of the bridal suite, function rooms and other event spaces — all perfect settings for hosting weddings of any size.
The tour was complemented by a delightful lunch featuring authentic Malay cuisine, meticulously prepared by the hotel’s dedicated Food & Beverage team.
Whether you are envisioning a grand bersanding ceremony or a more intimate akad nikah, the Malay Bridal Fair at Olive Tree Hotel served as a one-stop destination for inspiration, expert guidance, and tailored wedding solutions.
Among the participating vendors were standout local businesses such as Ayaya Zulkifly from Pizzascarf (Alor Setar), offering a variety of locally made scarves, and Dina Florist from Kulim, known for their fresh flowers sourced from Cameron Highlands and Penang. Owner Dina Rajthiny shared that her floral designs cater to a variety of events, including Malay and Indian weddings, anniversaries, and birthday celebrations. Other traders were Chezakyra cakes and cookies and GoldFinch Jewellery.
The Olive Tree Hotel offers a range of customisable wedding packages to suit every need and budget. For more information, please contact 04-637 7777.
