The Penang International Green Conference and Exhibition (PGIGCE) 2024 from November 16 to 17, 2024 will be held at the Setia SPICE Convention Centre.
Present at a press conference to announce the event was Penang Chief Minister YAB Chow Kon Yeow along with the organising chairman of the event Baylon Tham Wai Leong and his committee.
The gathering will celebrate and advance shared commitment to sustainability and environmental stewardship.
“This time, PGIGCE 2024 stands as a beacon of innovation in Green Technology, Green Finance, and Net Zero Carbon solutions, providing an electrifying space for collaboration, knowledge exchange and actionable insights, driving us towards a future of Green Penang that’s more sustainable and prosperous”, said Tham.
The event is organized by Penang Green Council under the purview of the Penang state government.
It is expected to bring together visionary leaders, innovative thinkers, and passionate advocates from across Penang and Northern Malaysia, united in our quest to forge a greener, more sustainable future.
PGIGCE 2024 is designed to propel sustainability forward and ignite positive global change.
The PGIGCE aims to –
1. To inspire action towards sustainability and environmental stewardship
2. To serve as a platform for promoting green solutions and sustainable
technologies that can drive positive environmental impact
3. To advocate for policies and regulatory frameworks that support sustainability
and climate action.
