The team at the Hompton by the Beach, Penang are no strangers to community outreach, especially during the festive seasons when the spirit of giving is most meaningful.
Whether it is Hari Raya, Chinese New Year, Deepavali, or Christmas, the hotel’s management and staff regularly step forward with charitable initiatives aimed at supporting the less fortunate and uplifting communities across Penang.
Continuing this tradition of care and corporate social responsibility, the team recently delivered 350 containers of bubur lambuk to the Penang Island City Council office along Jalan Timah for distribution to its staff members.
The goodwill visit was led by the hotel’s general manager Steven Suffian, together with several heads of departments.
Also present to receive the contribution were Dato’ A. Rajendran, Mayor of the Penang Island City Council, and Foo Yu Keong, councillor of the council.
The containers of the popular Ramadan porridge were quickly snapped up by MBPP staff members, with some happily helping themselves to more than one pack.
Indeed, it was another commendable gesture by Hompton by the Beach Penang, reflecting the hotel’s ongoing commitment to giving back to the community and fostering goodwill during the festive season
