The Penang Island City Council has made another impressive display made from recycled materials.

This time around, it is at the Taman Pekaka open area which displays Kung Fu Panda and friends.

In total  there are six characters namely, the panda, tigress, praying mantis, viper, monkey and crane.

Most of the materials used are discarded cardboard, plastic, tyres, ropes and old newspapers.

As in previous projects, MBPP assistant health officer Ahmad Nizuar Nordin and his team were instrumental in making the display a reality.

Also present was, MBPP councillor Tan Seang Keat, Urban Services Department director Xavier Sebastian, and Baru Uban assemblyman A. Kumaresan.

Xavier added that next week, they will be launching another project in Ayer Itam.

Kudos to the MBPP team for their innovation and creative display which in a small way help Mother Earth.
