Members of the Malaysian Association of Hotels (MAH) Penang Chapter will gather for their biennial dinner on Friday, August 8, 2025, at St. Giles Wembley Hotel, Penang.

Themed “Mingle & Jingle,” the event is expected to welcome around 700 guests from across the country, including hoteliers, industry partners and invited dignitaries.

The dinner is also in celebration of their 24th anniversary.

Penang Chief Minister YAB Chow Kon Yeow will be the guest of honour for the evening along with the Deputy Chairman of Tourism Malaysia, Dato Yeoh Soon Hin who is also the Chairman of Penang Port Commission and YB Wong Hon Wai, Penang State Executive Councillor for Tourism and Creative Economy.  will be in attendance.

They will be received by MAH Penang Chapter chairman Dato’ Tony Goh and his committee.

Also lending support will be MAH national president, Datin Christina Toh from Kuala Lumpur.

The annual dinner serves as a platform for hotel general managers, executives and their sales team members to relax, network and celebrate their shared contributions to Penang’s tourism and hospitality industry.

A host of exciting programmes are lined up for the night, with the evergreen emcee Gilbert Khoo leading the evening’s entertainment. 

Guests can look forward to a live band performance, stage shows, and attractive lucky draw prizes.
