The Hotel Royal Penang is currently offering their “Royal Mee Udang” which brings the authentic taste of only the freshest of ingredients.
The dish is already a hit among diners there.
The tasty meal is the creation of chef Rozairy Roslan and his team after several trial and perfecting sessions.
Rozairy comes with more than 15 years in the culinary industry.
“To get the perfect taste, we only use fresh ingredients which includes prawns (four pieces), noodles, sweet potato, sawi, prawn shell stock, noodles, taugeh and bean curd.
“The whole process takes us only around 10mins to be ready for serving. To retain the quality and freshness of the dish, it is only served for dine-in guests,” added Rozairy. The Royal Mee Udang is priced at RM18nett.
Another popular dish is the “Kari Kepala Ikan” which is served piping hot in a pot. They use jenahak fish also known as the snapper for the dish.
The hot meal is topped with curry, tomatoes and ladies fingers. A serving can cater for two to three pax and is inclusive of rice, stir fried chicken kunyit, telur dadar, stir fried vegetables and ulam ulaman, sambal belacan and hot beverages. The package is priced at RM65nett.
Also available is the set nasi bawal or ayam goreng at RM13.90 for takeaway or dine-in. (Dine-in guests get coffee/tea complimentary)
Chef Rozairy also recommends their “Abah Fried Rice”, “Larut Mee Goreng”, “Black Pepper Grilled Chicken” and “Spicy Aglio Olio” for a hearty meal.
