In commemoration of the 50th anniversary of the Malaysian Association of Hotels (MAH), they proudly unveiled their inaugural Tourism Fair dedicated to promoting the nation’s domestic tourism.
The inaugural event serves as a pivotal platform, fostering direct engagement between businesses and the public.
A press conference was held at the Dorsett Grand Subang Hotel, Selangor.
Present was Ms Christina Toh, MAH National president and Nicole Tan Lee Khoon, Negeri Sembilan State Exco for Women’s Affairs among others.
The event is a grand showcase of hospitality, over 2,500 room vouchers will be distributed to visitors with any purchases made at the event.
Speaking on its focus for domestic tourism, Dato’ Khoo Boo Lim, the Vice President of MAH and the Organising Chairman MAH Tourism Fair said: “Recently due to circumstances beyond our control, Malaysia’s hotels have been perceived as expensive for locals. With this initiative, we aimed to make luxury stays more accessible and encourage the public to discover worthwhile destinations right here in
our home, Malaysia.”
MAH Tourism Fair is co-organised by TIN Media, Malaysia’s Independent Travel Trade Media.
The fair will feature an array of exhibitors and participants from across
the hospitality industry spectrum, offering everything from enticing hotel stays and sumptuous buffets to captivating travel packages, rejuvenating wellness and spa experiences, and enchanting wedding deals. Attendees can anticipate an immersive exploration of unparalleled travel opportunities to enrich their travel itineraries.
The MAH Fair will be held on July 6th & 7th from 10am to 9pm at the Pavilion Bukit Jalil, Exhibition Centre, Kuala Lumpur.
Entrance is free.
