Thundering sounds of traditional drums and cymbals echoed through the lobby of the Amari SPICE Penang earlier today.
The 5-star hotel was celebrating the Chinese New Year and the Year of the Dragon with a Lion dance and Dragon dance performance.
On hand to welcome guests was the general manager of the hotel – Noorazzudin Omar and the various heads of departments.
Even in-house guests turned out in large numbers to witness the celebration and the firecrackers display.
The main event for the day was the Yee Sang tossing session which symbolises growth, prosperity and wealth for everyone.
