Maly with Jay-r perform at the G Hotel

Live band music lovers will now have a chance to witness and enjoy the entertainment by the “Soul Vibing” duo from Manila, Philippines at the G Hotel.
After a long hiatus, the appearance of talents from the Philippines are making their presence in Penang again.
They are currently performing at Cafe 168 and the G Spot located on the third floor of the hotel.
The two-piece band is made up of female lead singer, Maly Celada and Jay-r Pacorsa on the acoustic guitar.
The latter has more than 12-years experience in music industry playing with small and also several live bands back home.
“I only have about 3-years experience as a lead singer back home. However, we have performed in many of the 5-star hotels, restaurants, lounges and bars in Manila.
“Our repertoire consists of a wide range of numbers. Even songs from the Sixties till the present chart toppers are in our rendition. We also welcome guests to send in their requests for their listening pleasure.
“Although this is the first time for us to work outside of the Philippines, we are determined to make the best of our stint here,” said Celada to Penang Hyperlocal.
Their music genre consists of Jazz, Retro, Rock, Pop, Ballads, Blues, Country & Western, Reggae, Funk up to current hits.
The duo can perform songs in English, Mandarin, Tagalog and Spanish.
