Penang’s first indoor tennis and pickleball academy has officially opened its doors along Jalan Burma here recently.

Dubbed, Play! Tennis Malaysia, it is welcoming tennis and pickleball players of all ages and skill levels to play at a fully air-conditioned facility.

The academy breaks new ground in the field of tennis and pickleball, serving up a fresh experience that allows players to pick up a new sport in a comfortable environment, and providing more seasoned players with a bright and inspiring space to hone their skills.

It is committed to innovation, leadership and excellence in sports and recreation, and further cements Penang’s place as a trailblazer in progressive and creative initiatives.

Located in the heart of Penang at 203 Jalan Burma, the academy also boasts a pro shop for players to pick up new equipment, as well as a chill-out lounge area for relaxation and socialising pre- or post-game, or for parents, friends and family of players to enjoy being spectators.

For those who want fun memories of their tennis or pickleball journey, there is an Instagram-worthy wall mural painted by local Penang artists. The academy aims to offer a multi-faceted and multi-sport experience, melding the love of sport with lifestyle.
