Members of newly formed Pertubuhan Kebajikan Setia Ikhlas Pulau Pinang (PKSIPP) were busy this Christmas season when they carried out not one but three corporate social responsibility (CSR) projects.

All of the events were supported and sponsored by the office of the Penang Deputy Chief Minister 11, YB Jagdeep Singh Deo.

He also made himself available despite his busy schedule to personally attend all of the gatherings.

Also present was PKSIPP president Dato Aloysious Gasper along with adviser Dato Baldev Singh and Dato Dr Kulwaran Singh and their committee members.

Among the beneficiaries was the Tamil Methodist Church located along Dato Keramat where some 50 children were treated to a fine lunch not forgetting Santa Claus who made his appearance to hand out sweets and other goodies.

Next, was the Little Sisters of the Poor Home which houses elderly residents.

They were treated to a carolling session followed by a tasty lunch and companionship. Also present were volunteers and administrators of the home.

The session was well received by the residents as it brought Xmas cheer and good tidings especially during the festive season.

Lastly, PKSIPP members visited the  Nativity Church Hall, Jalan Chain Ferry, Butterworth where some 120 children and church members gathered.

Among the highlights was the opening prayer session followed by Christmas storytelling and Nativity play. There was also interactive Christmas carol sing-along and other games and fun activities.
