Frontliners are the first line of defence against the Covid-19 pandemic.
Their efforts were recently recognised in a small but meaningful manner when members of the Sunway Hotel Georgetown and Sunway Hotel Seberang Jaya visited several roadblocks around the city.
Among the locations were at Ayer Itam, Paya Terubong, Bayan Lepas, Lim Chong Eu Expressway, Seberang Jaya, Perai and Sungai Dua.
“As the nation strives to break the chain of Covid-19 transmission, our frontline heroes are carrying out duties by ensuring citizens adhere to the standard operating procedures of Movement Control Order (MCO).
“A total of 40 cartons of mineral water to the police officers, who are protecting the safety of the Penangites, as a token of appreciation.
“We at Sunway would like to express our gratitude for the dedicated efforts of the frontline workers, lifting the spirit as we fight together as a nation during this challenging time.
“Let us all do our part to flatten the curve once more,” said Prakash Kumaran, the General Manager of Sunway Hotel Georgetown and Sunway Hotel Seberang Jaya.
Meanwhile, the Sunway Hotel Georgetown also launched its ‘Frontline Knights’ promotion, to show appreciation towards the sacrifices made by all frontline personnel.
