Setia SPICE Convention centre & Arena amped up the excitement with its vibrant “Shift Up & Link Up” appreciation dinner, held at the breezy rooftop of Setia SPICE Convention Centre, Level R1. The evening brought together lively delegates and participants of BE@Penang 2025 for a night of connection, celebration, and pure Penang flavour.

From the moment guests arrived, they were greeted with warm smiles and upbeat vibes.

Adding star power to the evening was Hiroshi Tamura, CEO & Founder of Trend Maker Company Limited and widely known as the Father of the Modern GT-R. His presence drew plenty of excitement—especially with two of his latest high-performance sports cars gleaming on display, becoming instant crowd magnets.

Guests embarked on a gastronomic adventure featuring a plethora of Penang’s iconic delights—from smoky, wok-hei packed Char Koay Teow, juicy Satay, and flavourful Hokkien Mee, to crowd favourites like Roasted Lamb, Lobak, and refreshing bowls of Ice Kacang. Every bite was a celebration of the island’s vibrant food culture.

As the sun dipped and city lights took over, a live band and an energetic DJ set the mood with foot-tapping music that kept the atmosphere buzzing. Conversations flowed, laughter filled the air, and the dance floor never seemed to rest.

More than just a gathering, the session created the perfect space for delegates to forge new connections, strengthen camaraderie, and unwind after a productive day at BE@Penang 2025. “Shift Up & Link Up” truly lived up to its name—elevating spirits, sparking new relationships, and linking the community in an unforgettable night under the Penang sky.
