The Rainforest World Music Festival (RWMF) 2023 promises to be bigger and better than ever.
The festival welcomes performers from all around the world across the globe.
Some international acts from Asia include Rizal Hadi & Folk from Indonesia, Ethno Thai Fusions Sound Band from Thailand, Syed from Singapore, and Fasylive from Maldives.
Rizal Hadi & Folk initially started as a one-man band with Rizal himself orchestrating and leading the entire show playing more than 7 instruments at the same time.
The act grew to include additional members, such as renowned Indonesian drummer Reza Achman and bassist Priyo Mamo, resulting in the formation of the current Rizal Hadi & Folk ensemble.
Rizal Hadi & Folk produces a distinctive brand of folk music that merges ballads, rock, reggae, and blues with diverse ethnic beats. Rizal’s lyrics, sung with confidence in both Indonesian and English, touch on topics such as life, exploration, energy, sustainability, democracy, and opportunity.
Since 2008 Rizal has made a name for himself and performed in various festivals around the world including Bali Spirit Festival, Ulsan World Music Festival in Korea, and Metro Dubai Festival in UAE among many others.
