Rapid Penang celebrated its 16th anniversary in Penang with a Fun Walk over the weekend.
In all, some 300 participants took part in the event.
Among them were members of the public and also staff members.
Present to flag off the walk was Penang Mayor Dato A Rahendran along with Rapid Bus Sdn Bhd chief executive officer, Muhammad Yazurin Sallij Muhammad Yasin and Ahmad Shabuddin Abdullah, head of Rapid Bus Sdn Bhd Northern region.
“I congratulate Rapid Penang on their 16th anniversary celebrations. This event will further help promote the brand and identity of Rapid Penang,” said Rajendran.
Meanwhile, Muhammad Yazurin said that through this programme, we hope to forge closer relationships with our clients whom we consider as a bigger part of our family.
“We are also grateful for your trust and will serve the community to our best,” added Muhammad Yazurin.
Participants were also treated to some 20 lucky draw prizes and other interesting programmes like the Best Dressed award along with a Boria and Chinese Drums performance.
Organisers also gave out some 500 ice cream cones, and 100 free drinks for the participants.
