Members of the Malaysian Association of Tour and Travel Agents (MATTA) Penang Chapter paid a courtesy call on the new director for the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture (MOTAC) Penang Dr Annuar Mohamed at his office along Beach Street yesterday.
They were led by Penang MATTA chairman, Ms Carolyn Leong.
Also present was MATTA vice chairman Abdul Zulkifli and other committee members.
They discussed matters of interest and promotions for the mutual benefit of the state and MATTA members.
Among them was the up-coming MATTA Fair Penang next month in April.
Meanwhile, the week has been an especially busy one for Dr Annuar as many hospitality industry players and tourism stakeholders who have been calling on him to get acquainted.
