PVRTC 2022’s expertise in gathering top Chinese buyers by providing the ideal platform for
getting updates on the latest Chinese travel market trends for the coming years, creating great
networking opportunities with Chinese buyers, and providing the most up-to-date insights on
Chinese travel market developments.
The virtual roadshow was a significant platform for the industry to virtually assemble, converse, and exchange a wealth of wonderful knowledge and future prospects.
The purpose of exhibiting at PVRTC 2022 is to get business prospects, meet high-level
professionals from advertising, marketing, and sales, and to network a guaranteed assistance
package for business events and leisure events in Penang between 2022 and 2023 at the selected firm, as well as outstanding business leads and amazing digital networking tools.
The roadshow allows PCEB to present Penang’s best and most recent offerings in order to attract more business events groups from China, as hosted buyers are outbound market decision makers with considerable experience organising trips or events in many outbound places. Only chosen buyers are permitted to attend our roadshow in order to verify that buyers are appropriate matches for participating exhibitors, hence it is entirely composed of Chinese buyers.
According to Yeoh, the establishment of the diplomatic relationship between Malaysia and China dated back to 1974 has benefitted Penang in the state economic and industrial structure transformation. China has been Malaysia’s largest trading partner since 2009 and accounted for 18.6% of Malaysia total trade in 2020.
Penang’s international borders reopened on April 1st, and the Penang government has been
implementing recovery initiatives to help our tourism economy recover while we continue our
efforts to ensure public safety.
