PARKROYAL Penang Resort General Manager Edward Kollmer has been appointed Cluster General Manager, Resort Hotels, Malaysia, taking on an expanded leadership role overseeing a portfolio of resort properties across the country.
With more than 25 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Kollmer brings extensive experience in hotel operations and leadership to his expanded role. While continuing to lead PARKROYAL Penang Resort, he will also provide strategic oversight of Gurney Bay Hotel, A PARKROYAL Partner Hotel, PARKROYAL Langkawi and PARKROYAL A’Famosa Melaka Resort.
Kollmer has been with Pan Pacific Hotels Group for the past seven years, during which he has established a strong track record in hospitality leadership and operational management.
During his tenure at PARKROYAL Penang Resort, his leadership has supported the resort through transformation, strengthened operational excellence and contributed to key milestones in the resort’s continued growth.
In his expanded role, Kollmer will work closely with the leadership teams across the resort portfolio, with a focus on strengthening collaboration, sharing operational best practices and supporting the continued development of the properties under his oversight.
His appointment marks a significant milestone in his career and reflects his extensive experience in the hospitality industry, as he takes on greater responsibility across Malaysia’s resort portfolio while continuing to lead PARKROYAL Penang Resort.
