
Penang State Exco for Tourism and Creative Economy YB Wong Hon Wai welcomed a international delegation for the “Prosperity Awaits 2026 dōTERRA Aromatherapy Seminar Carnival.” The Esplanade (Padang Kota Lama) recently.
doTERRA is a global multi-level marketing company founded in 2008 specialising in sourcing, testing and distributing essential oils, oils infused personal care products and supplements based in Pleasant Grove, Utah, USA.
The large group members arrived to Penang aboard the Royal Caribbean cruise ship.
The dōTERRA Aromatherapy Seminar Carnival featured Penang food stalls, photo-taking spots, and other attractions, allowing participants to eat to their heart’s content, fun, and leave with wonderful memories of Penang.
Wong expressed his gratitude to dōTERRA for choosing Penang as the host city for its 2026 Aromatherapy Seminar.

Wong added that Chinese tourists can enter Penang by sea, land, and air. To date, Penang has direct flight connections with six cities in China, namely Guangzhou, Xiamen, Shanghai, Chengdu, Shenzhen, and Hong Kong. In the coming April, Penang will welcome its seventh direct air link with a Chinese city, as Chongqing Airlines launches direct flights between Chongqing and Penang.
