Premium champagne brand – Barons De Champagne is making a great comeback after the Covid-19 pandemic.
Penang Hyperlocal had a chance to conduct an exclusive interview with Mr Frédéric Mairesse, the managing director of Barons De Rothschild who was at The Ritz- Carlton, Langkawi recently.
“Post Covid-19 we have got an amazing demand worldwide and subsequently, for a few premium brands, were not able to supply our clients.
“Overall, Barons de Rothschild recovered in 2021 and in 2022 to many great places in the world through luxury resorts, gastronomic restaurants and great wine shops.
“We had the chance to consolidate our Asian business segment and to develop two other big markets, namely USA and Italy.
“Today we continue to develop our BdR brand in the best places to be and we have numerous success stories.
“Langkawi is a fabulous island and Barons de Rothschild has forged huge links with the main actors of the resorts of the island, we want to continue and to improve these relationships”, said Frederic.
Meanwhile, guests at the premium champagne dinner at The Ritz- Carlton, Langkawi were treated to some of the finest in the world.
