Carlsberg staff members carry out good deed in conjunction with Chinese New Year
Two charitable homes received much needed donations from the staff of Carlsberg Malaysia in the Northern Region in conjunction with the upcoming Chinese New Year and the Year of the Dragon.
The homes were the Lotus Cancer Center and the Happy Kind Ness Dialysis Centre Sdn Bhd in Butterworth.
The presentation ceremony was led by Toh Swee Huat along with his team.
A total of RM5,900 was raised through their charity drive among staff members, distributors, friends and other generous donors.
The Lotus Cancer Center received a sum of RM3,000 while the Happy Kind Ness Dialysis Centre Sdn Bhd received RM2,900 for their charity work.
“We hope that our contribution, although small, will go a long way to help the needy and underprivileged,” added Toh.
