Premium New Zealand wine by Misha’s Vineyard flowed freely at the Four Seasons Resort Langkawi when they hosted an exclusive wine dinner.

A special F&B theme of classic North and South Indian cuisine brought out the unique combination of food and wine.

Guests were encouraged to be dressed in Indian attire to get the mood going.

In all, some 30 guests from the hospitality industry in Langkawi, wine aficionados and house guests gathered for the evening.

Present to introduce guests to the exceptional wine range was Andy and Misha Wilkinson themselves who are on their annual tour of the region.

Guests were treated to Tandoori Jhinga (Andaman Prawns), Scallops Moilee Ottu Shavige, Dhungari Batakh Lukmi (Duck Pie), Dum Ki Shikar (Lamb Chop) and finally Paan Pista Kulfi (Dessert)

Misha’s Vineyard is located on a spectacular site on the edge of Lake Dunstan in Central Otago – the Pinot Noir capital of New Zealand.

The sun-drenched north-west facing terraces of the 57-hectare estate provide the optimal conditions for producing world-class Pinot Noir and aromatic white varieties.

They have also been named as one of New Zealand’s Top 20 Wine Producers.

Guests were treated to Misha’s The Starlet 2022 Sauvignon Blanc, Misha’s Dress Circle 2021 Pinot Gris, Misha’s Cantata 2020 Pinot Noir, Misha’s The High Note 2016 Pinot Noir and Misha’s The Cadenza Late Harvest 2018 Gewurztraminer.

Among those present was the general manager of the Four Seasons Resort Langkawi, Ivan Giles, Jasmine Keh, GM of Mercure Langkawi Pantai Cenang and Neoh Kean Boon, the general manager of the Pelangi Resort Langkawi.
