The Mercure Langkawi Pantai Cenang held its first staff party to celebrate their hard work and commitment while returning to normal operations post lockdown.
Some 80 employees gathered at their ballroom dressed in their best of outfits.
General manager Jasmine Keh greeted each and every staff upon their arrival.
All of the hotel’s head of departments were also on hand to welcome their colleagues.
They held a cake cutting ceremony to mark the grand occasion and gave out prizes for the best traditional outfit winners.
In her address, Jasmine said that it is indeed an honor to celebrate the 1st “Heartist Party” of many many more to come.
“It is an Accor’s employee promise, which is what Heartists can expect when they join Accor, with the emphasis that human capital is our greatest asset, which all of you today in this room represent.
“Today we can also celebrate the performance and success in 2022. And we are also going strong in 2023 too.
“We have gone through the good times and bad times together and have come out successfully, ” said Keh in her address.
She also added that to-date, they have also become one of the formidable hotels in Pantai Cenang.
“We can now look forward to a better year and happy Chinese New Year for those celebrating,” ended Keh.
She also advised them to be their true self, enjoy what they do and go the extra mile for every customer and be trend setters in Langkawi.
Syabas to Mercure Langkawi Pantai Cenang for their remarkable performance.
