The “most happening” resort in Langkawi, the Dash Resort Langkawi held a memorable ceremony to show appreciation to its loyal and dedicated staff members.
In all, some 65 members of the staff were hosted to a fine reception recently.
On hand was the general manager Effendi Ramley and other head of departments.
“It is through your hard work and dedication that our resort has soared to greater heights. I am pleased to see all of you are still with us despite the Covid-19 pandemic and following lockdown.
“Great teams depend on the personalities of the members, as well as the leadership style of managers. However, the ingredients for what makes a successful team are similar across the board. Having mutual respect, common and aligned goals, open communication, and patience can all help make for a successful team.
“Through the years, your talents and efforts have helped our success. Together, we take pride in your accomplishment and your commitment to excellence.
“And remember that the success of a hospitality business is largely affected by its level of customer satisfaction. When customers have a pleasant experience, they may return in the future — and they share their experience with friends and family members, resulting in even more sales for the business.
“Well done team and we are really proud to have all of you as our ambassador! Congratulations on your anniversary and really appreciate your long service to the company!” said Effendi in his address.
He later presented certificates of appreciation and mementos to the deserving employees.
With 108 rooms and villas, the Dash Resort Langkawi has become the talk of the island with the reopening of international borders.
