Following their annual general meeting (AGM) held at the Wembley Hotel in Georgetown last Thursday (March 18), the office bearers for the year 2021/22 are as follows –
The MAH Penang chairman is R. Raj Kumar (general manager of the Light Hotel Penang).
Assisting him as the vice chairman will be Ben Ho who is the general manager of the Lexis Suites Penang.
The Hon Secretary is Tony Goh, general manager of the Wembley – A St Giles Hotel along with Dennis Lee, general manager of the Royale Chulan Penang who will hold the position of Hon Treasurer.
The eight Exco committee members are Elaine Yue (GM Shangri-la’s Rasa Sayang Resort, Kevin Cheah (GM Iconic Hotel Penang), Melvin Ooi (GM Prestige Hotel Penang), Lynne Choong (GM Bayview Hotel Georgetown), Dennis Cheng (Vouk Hotel Management), Jimmy Chan (GM Hompton Hotel Penang), John Kim (GM Mei Hotel Penang) and Chris Niuh (GM (Eastin Hotel Penang).
Also present at the event was MAH national vice president, Khoo Boo Lim and chief executive officer, Yap Lip Seng.
