The Great Room at the Penang Marriott Hotel brought in Dexter Ng, the Trade Ambassador, Bacardi this time around.
The gathering was for the Whisky Master Class and Guest Shift sessions which featured Aberfeldy whisky from Scotland.
Ng is also an expert mixologist and also creates new and tantalizing cocktails for guests.
The Aberfeldy single malt whisky from the foothills of the Central Highlands of Scotland has a tradition of 125 years. Guests had a chance to savour the 12, 16 and 21-year batches of the whisky.
The whisky is also known as the Golden Dram as they are a classic fruity whisky with a honeyed richness and smooth taste.
They also have the Red Wine Cask Collection which are prepared in French red wine casks.
As guests mingled while tasting the Scottish whisky, they were also served with tasty canapés prepared by the F&B team at the hotel.
Meanwhile, the hotel’s mixologist, Evan Chang also showcased his talents with several cocktails.
He had recently won the gold medal and bronze medals for his cocktail creations at a recent mixologist competition.
Two more of his colleagues, Josh Tean and Kamal Yusri were proud winners in the various bar-tendering competitions.
