The G Hotel Group held its annual town hall session with staff members from the various departments.
The session was led by its general manager Michael Hanratty and his management team.
The gathering was also in conjunction with the recent Chinese New Year celebrations and to share the latest updates with the crew.
Outstanding staff members were also presented with awards for their contribution for their dedication and hard work.
Among the awards were for the “Best Attendance”, “Honesty”, “Employee of the Month” among others recognition.
Among those recognised was Lee Pee Han and Muhamad Aznee as the associates of the month for November 2023 and Mohd Shahidan and Zulkifly as the associates of the month for December 2023.
Another award for the Best Attendance Award went to Wan Hazwan, Mohamad Yusri, Hasri and Pravin. The Honesty award went to Nicholas Law, Peralagan, Ehsan, Mohd Shahidan, Kesvaraj, Kuhan, Vanitharaha, Sandran, Norita, Dal Bahadur Saad and Bokati for their contributions to fostering an ethical work culture.
Birthday boys and girls
Even those whose birthday fell in the months of January and February were celebrated.
Highlight of the gathering was the traditional Yee Sang toasting ceremony that brought a symbolic shower of prosperity and good fortune, setting the tone for a promising Year of the Dragon.
Employees, including the hotel’s foreign workers, came together as one big G family to revel in the festivities.
The staff members were also treated to a fine lunch treat with an array of mouth-watering dishes.
