Penang Hyperlocal had the unique opportunity to test drive the latest Tesla Model Y sports utility vehicle (SUV) earlier this morning.
The event is part of the roadshow of the pioneer electric car company to showcase the Tesla cars to the Penang and the Northern Region market.
Other than the luxurious and comfortable interior, the car drives quietly and smoothly while its sensors pick up cars and motorbikes passing around the vehicle.
The steering is sporty and easy to manoeuvre while the leather seats are cosy too, complete with its sunroof.
With all these modern technologies working in symphony with the car, one has the cutting edge of science and technology at your hands.
They are on the sizable screen which replaces everything a conventional car dashboard indicates. The Tesla Y is a mid-size SUV and has a capacity of running 351 miles on a single charge.
Also on show is the Tesla Model 3 and the Cybertruck at the foyer of the mall.
They are here at the Gurney Plaza till the end of this month to present their latest models.
