Their huge store houses loads of event props, tables, chairs (with covers), chandeliers, wine glasses, various light stands, decoration materials and the works.
But when the Covid-19 pandemic hit our shore, everything came to a thundering halt.
But like the saying goes, in adversity, there is opportunity, Creative Director, Susan Chyntana stumbled on the opportunity to start making fabric face masks when her client’s “timely” request for some samples.
“Realising the potential, I quickly started utilizing whatever cloth materials which were in my inventory to embark on the project.
“Soon, we managed to send some fabric samples for the client and so started our venture into the cloth mask venture,” said Susan.
Now, her masks are marketed under the “Breathe Easy” range which comes in 10 colour choices to match your dressing for the day.
Among the colours available are in red, black, yellow, blue, white, purple, Navy blue, Golden orange, fuchsia and maroon. Retail prices start from RM10 each.
“We also do personalised face masks which involve “sublimation” process to imprint a logo or design on the mask.
“The face mask has now become a fashion status and people like to match their daily dressing with their masks,” added Susan.
Her face masks are made in compliance with the Ministry of Health (MOH) and World Health Organisation (WHO) requirements whereby the Bacteria Filtration Efficiency (BFE) test is 82.9% after 60 washes (minimum WHO requirement is 70%).
They are now supplying their products to individuals, international schools, factories and the corporate sector.
Thanks to some friends, she also sends stock to Singapore, Holland and Australia. As for the children, there are specially designed masks available for them too.
Meanwhile, they also launched their own brand of Care Easy hand sanitizers in 50ml packaging at RM5 each and 500ml at RM25 each.
They also now have a Wash Easy Hybrid Mask Sterilize Machine that will wash, sterilize and dry your fabric masks in 75 seconds. This machine is invented locally and carries a Malaysia patent pending.
They are now able to provide a Total Integrated Solution for factories that need an on site machine that will facilitate workers sterilising their fabric mask regularly.
This will effectively mitigated spread of bacteria and virus, whether Covid 19 or otherwise.
