Carlsberg Malaysia ushered in the spirit of Chinese New Year with a festive trade dinner held in conjunction with the upcoming celebrations at the G Hotel here.
The gathering saw some 400 guests attending from Langkawi, Alor Star and Ipoh too.
The joyous evening was attended by Managing Director Stefano Clini, Gary Tan Sales Director, Northern Region Sales Manager Toh Swee Huat, along with a host of valued partners and guests.
The celebrations kicked off with a lively cocktail reception at the ballroom lobby, setting the tone for an auspicious evening ahead. As the main event began,
Then, VIPs were greeted with an electrifying Lion Dance performance, accompanied by the Five Gods of Prosperity, symbolising good fortune, wealth and success for the year to come.
Following the vibrant welcome, Clini took to the stage to deliver his opening remarks, extending warm festive wishes and inviting everyone to celebrate and enjoy the evening together. This was followed by a traditional Yee Sang tossing ceremony, as guests joined in to usher in prosperity, abundance and good luck for the new year.
Guests were then treated to a sumptuous Chinese course dinner while enjoying engaging stage performances throughout the evening. The gathering brought together hoteliers, pub and bar operators, restaurant owners and food court operators, creating a lively platform for networking and camaraderie.
The night was filled with cheerful conversations, laughter and resounding shouts of “Gong Xi Fa Cai,” as guests mingled, forged stronger ties and celebrated the festive season well into the night.
