For the first time, the Boustead Group hosted its Media Networking Dinner at the Royale Chulan Penang, bringing together the Group’s top leadership and members of the media in an evening dedicated to fostering stronger relationships and engagement.
Leading the Boustead delegation from Kuala Lumpur was its Chairman of Boustead Holdings Berhad, General Tan Sri Dato’ Sri Abdul Aziz Zainal; Group Managing Director, Dato’ Indera Ir. Dr. Ahmad Sabirin Arshad; Chairman of Boustead Hotels & Resorts, Dato’ Seri Norliza Abdul Rahim; Group Chief People Officer, Badrol-Izam Baharom; along with other senior leaders from across the Group.
The gathering provided an excellent platform for representatives from the print, broadcast and digital media to interact personally with Boustead’s leadership in a relaxed and informal setting.

The evening reflected the Group’s commitment to building meaningful partnerships with the media while strengthening mutual understanding and collaboration.
Guests were treated to an impressive buffet featuring a wide selection of local favourites and international cuisine, creating the perfect backdrop for networking opportunities.
In her welcoming address, Dato’ Seri Norliza Abdul Rahim thanked members of the media for their continued support and encouraged everyone to relax and enjoy the evening’s programme.
“We have planned a fun-filled evening with exciting lucky draws, and I hope you will also join us for the karaoke session. Tonight is about celebrating our friendship and getting to know one another better,” she said.

The evening concluded on a cheerful note, with guests leaving not only with memories of a delightful culinary experience but also with new friendships and stronger connections forged between Boustead Group’s leadership and members of the media.

That’s a great initiative from Boustead Group to build those connections with the media. It’s always beneficial when companies prioritize strong relationships like this.
