The Anthem of the Seas cruise ship made its inaugural trip to the Swettenham Pier Cruise Terminal (SPCT) this morning @ 7.35am.

It is enroute to Singapore departing Dubai on November 7,2024.

Prior to coming to Penang, the Quantum class cruise ship by Royal Caribbean International (RCI) made stopovers in Mumbai and Cochin in India and Phuket in Thailand. 

The 4,800 passenger capacity cruise ship underwent refurbishment in 2020  Soon, it will soon kick off a series of three-to five-night cruises to Southeast Asia.

Sailing round trip from the Marina Bay Cruise Terminal, the itineraries feature visits to destinations in Malaysia and Thailand, including Penang and Phuket.

The seasonal deployment also includes a few longer cruises that cover more destinations in the region, such as a ten-night cruise to Vietnam and Thailand in January 2025.

Passengers travelling on the cruise ship can enjoy a variety of facilities, namely the Bumper cars, North Star viewing deck, Ripcord, a skydiving simulator, rock climbing, swimming pools, casino, theater, retail outlets, video arcades and a host of dining outlets among others.
