The 5-star Amari Johor Bahru celebrates yet another accolade.

This time around they were recognised with the  “Most Preferred Luxury Hospitality – Business & Leisure Brand” recently.

The ceremony was in conjunction with the The BrandLaureate Fast Moving Growing Sustainable Business & Brands Award 2024 night.

On hand to receive the award was its general manager Ms Pauline Chua and her management team. 

Her career in the hospitality industry spans over 30 years working in countries like Thailand, China, Fiji and Papua New Guinea.  

However, although hailing from Penang, she has never worked in her hometown before. 

In the meantime, the glittering award ceremony was held at the Majestic Hotel Kuala Lumpur.

In her remarks upon receiving the prestigious award, she thanked her guests and business partners for the unwavering support and looks forward to more success and industry recognition.

“We look forward to more excellence in luxury hospitality and serving our guests with our hospitality.

“As a key player in the Johor tourism industry, I believe that Amari Johor Bahru has become a prominent contributor to the development of tourism for the state and we will be continuing these pivotal initiatives.” said Chua.

Amari Johor Bahru which is part of the Bangkok-based ONYX Hospitality Group offers some 242 guest rooms and suites. 

Among their facilities are their Amaya Food Gallery, Amaya Cafe, ballroom, meeting rooms, Breeze Spa, Swimming pool, FIT Centre among others. 

Their location is also a stone’s throw from the CIQ centre (Customs, Immigration & Quarantine) in JB.
