The Tanjung Rhu Resort Langkawi will be organising a dinner on Friday, March 4, 2022 in conjunction with the Malaysian Association of Hotels Kedah and Perlis Chapter annual general meeting (AGM) that will be held at the same venue.
The theme “A Nite With Sherson Lian and Johnny Fua of Kitchen Mafia” promises to be an evening with good food, drinks and entertainment.
The celebrity chefs are being flown in specially by Tanjung Rhu Resort Langkawi.
Chef Sherson is no stranger with his shows on Asian Food Channel among others.
All of the standard operating procedures (SOPs_ like social distancing, wearing of masks, making sanitizers available will be observed at the dinner.
An added bonus during the same period will be the Annual “Sand Bar Walk” exclusively by Tanjung Rhu Resort.
The sandbar phenomenon is something one cannot miss out.
This sort of extreme low tide does not happen often and the season is during the peak of our dry season or North-East monsoon.
The best period is during the spring tide from February until late March and it is usually very early in the morning.
The formation of these sand dunes can usually be seen from the beach every time the moon is full, but this once a year phenomenon is more unique when the sea level recedes completely until the sea looks like it is splitting.
The program to walk on the sand dunes is organized by Tanjung Rhu Resort Langkawi and several other partners to highlight the beauty of the environment and nature to Malaysians and foreign tourists.
