The future of Malaysia’s hospitality industry looks brighter with the successful completion of another Certified Hospitality Manager (CHM) training programme conducted by Aariana Hospitality International at lyf Georgetown.

The intensive three-day programme brought together 13 Ascott Malaysia associates from Penang and Kuala Lumpur, all of whom successfully completed the course — achieving a 100% pass rate and demonstrating an impressive level of commitment and knowledge.

Adding further sparkle to the achievement, the top-performing candidates recorded scores of up to 97%, much to the delight of the organisers and industry supporters.

Conducted by experienced hospitality trainer Ms Lyn Teh, the CHM programme was designed to equip participants with the knowledge, skills and leadership capabilities needed to take the next step in their hospitality careers.

With their CHM qualification under their belts, the successful candidates are now well positioned to take on greater responsibilities and progress towards future leadership roles, including hotel manager and general manager positions.

The training session was attended by Aariana Hospitality International President and Chief Executive Officer Reginald Pereira, Eugene Dass, general manager of StarCity Alor Setar and MAH Kedah/Perlis chairman and hotelier Adrian Chua, together with industry friends and supporters.

The three-day programme concluded on a celebratory note with a cocktail reception at lyf Georgetown, bringing together the newly certified managers, organisers and hospitality industry colleagues to celebrate their achievement and the continued development of talent within the industry.

The success of the programme is yet another testament to Aariana Hospitality International’s commitment to developing, empowering and grooming the next generation of hospitality leaders.

Syabas to all 13 successful candidates and congratulations to Aariana Hospitality International on another outstanding CHM programme!
