The Japan Foundation, Kuala Lumpur will host its Japanese Film Festival 2026.
Among their stops will be in Klang Valley at GSC Mid Valley from Sept 10 to 16, 2026. Penang at GSC Gurney Plaza, Sept 17 to 20, Johor Bahru at GSC Paradigm Mall from Sept 24 to 27, Kuching at GSC CityONE Megamall from October 8 to 11 and finally at Kota Kinabalu at GSC Suria Sabah from Oct 15 to 18, 2026.
The showcase of films include “Purehearted”, “Fujiko”, “Tora-san’s Many Splintered Love”, “Samurai Vengeance”, “You Are the Film” to name a few.
Come check out the films when you are around any of these cities.. Tickets are priced at RM10.
