A select group of wine enthusiasts gathered at Java Tree, Eastern & Oriental Hotel, for an exclusive Torbreck Vintners Wine Dinner, an evening of smooth wines and curated cuisine.
Originating from the renowned Barossa Valley in South Australia, Torbreck Vintners is celebrated for producing wines that reflect the rich heritage and distinctive terroir of one of Australia’s premier wine regions.
Present to introduce the various wine range at the evening was Sacha Timaeus, Export Manager of the winery.
Guests were treated to an impressive selection of labels throughout the evening, including the Torbreck Woodcutter’s Semillon 2023, Torbreck Cuvée Juveniles Blanc 2023, Torbreck The Steading Blanc 2023, Torbreck The Factor 2021, and Torbreck Descendant 2021.
Complementing the wines was a specially crafted menu prepared by the Food and Beverage team at the E&O Hotel.
The culinary experience commenced with a Chili Soy Glazed Diver Scallop and Jumbo Prawn appetizers, followed by a beautifully executed Pan Seared Barramundi. A refreshing House-made Mixed Berries Sorbet provided a palate-cleansing interlude before guests enjoyed hearty mains featuring Oven Roasted Rack of Spring Lamb and Australian Grain-Fed Beef Fillet Mignon.
The evening concluded on a sweet note with a delightful Mango and Passion Fruit Pavlova, perfectly paired to round off a night of exceptional flavours and convivial company.
Spotted was Michael Hanratty, GM of the G Hotel who was welcomed by Ms Alison Fraser, GM of the E&O Hotel and Colin Wong F&B Director.
The Torbreck Vintners Wine Dinner successfully showcased the harmony between world-class wines and expertly prepared cuisine, offering guests a memorable dining experience in the elegant surroundings of the E&O Hotel.
The wine dinner was made possible through the collaboration of Asiaeuro Wines & Spirits Sdn Bhd led by Stanley Symons and their team, bringing together wine lovers for a memorable tasting journey that showcased the character and craftsmanship of Torbreck’s acclaimed portfolio.
