
A premium Mahler-Besse wine dinner was hosted at the 2PM outlet of G Hotel Kelawai, drawing an intimate gathering of discerning wine enthusiasts.
Guests were treated to an exceptional selection of wines sourced from the renowned Bordeaux region in France, celebrated worldwide for its rich winemaking heritage.
The evening was curated by Asiaeuro Wine & Spirits Sdn Bhd, with the wine portfolio led by Ben Kennedy, Export Area Manager for the Americas and Southeast Asia.

Established in 1892, Mahler-Besse boasts a distinguished legacy of crafting both white and red wines, a heritage that was clearly reflected in the evening’s thoughtfully curated lineup.
The experience began with the refreshing Cheval Noir Bordeaux Blanc 2023, followed by Château Haut Reys Graves Blanc 2024. Guests then moved on to more robust expressions with Chapelle de Seize Saint-Émilion Grand Cru 2020 and Chapelle de Seize Pauillac 2020, before concluding on a refined note with Madame de Monbrison 2018.

Complementing the wines, the culinary team at G Hotel Kelawai presented a carefully crafted menu designed to enhance each pour. Highlights included elegant canapés followed by their Avocado and Crab Napoleon and Halloumi Cheese Bites with Cucumber Yogurt.
A palate-cleansing Sungold Tomato Ice Cream provided a refreshing interlude, leading into the main course of Slow-Braised Octopus with Smoked Romesco and a classic Steak au Poivre, each dish thoughtfully paired to elevate the wine experience.
