The Malaysian Association of Hotels (MAH Penang Chapter) held its annual inter-hotel futsal tournament recently.
A record number of 24 teams from the various hotels had sent-in their teams.
Competition was keen as most of the teams have been training and preparing for the tournament.
After a series of preliminary rounds the team from Shangri-La Golden Sands Resort met Penang Marriott Hotel in the finals.
After a close and nail biting game, the team from Shangri-La Golden Sands prevailed.
They won the champions trophy and 11 room vouchers at the Hompton Hotel Penang here.
On hand to present the prizes was MAH Penang Chapter chairman Dato Tony Goh.
The Raia Inn Penang was the 2nd runner up while the Shangri-La Rasa Sayang Resort was the 3rd runner-up.
Also present was secretary, John Kim and committee member, Steven Suffian.
This year, the Hompton Hotel Penang was the host hotel.
