Penang Deputy Chief Minister 11 YB Jagdeep Singh Deo made a courtesy call on the Chief Police (CPO) of Penang, Datuk Hamzah Ahmad recently. 

The police headquarters is an 87-year old heritage building in the state. The visit was to show appreciation to the police force and its members here.

“Penang moves forward because of our frontliners. I am happy to have the Chief Police of Penang, Datuk Hamzah Ahmad and his team welcome me.

“This iconic 87-year old heritage IPK building located in the heart of George Town has served well. 

“We are here to discuss matters on how the State can assist when it comes to the heritage building, the move of IPK to Batu Uban in the near future and also to ensure the continuous safety of the people of Penang at all times as well as all frontliners are our priority,” added Jagdeep.

He also met up with other senior officers of the contingent and signed the official visitors book to record his visit.
