Penang Pink Ladies at the Rockin the Pink brunch

Some 250 guests who gathered at the Penang Pink Ladies’ “Rockin The Pink” brunch at the E&O Hotel ballroom had a great time mingling while also doing their bid for charity.
Proceeds from the gathering will go to benefit the Mt Miriam Cancer Hospital and Penang Hospice Society.
Among the highlights was a live band performance, live auction, fashion showcase, raffles draw, staycation vouchers, beauty products and many more.
Those who contributed and sponsored goodies and gifts were Boston Scientific, Eastern & Oriental Hotel, Doublewoot, Bottega and Amee Philips who donated RM10,000 worth of jewellery.
Popular entertainer, Ray Rozells and his team put out a lively performance to entertain guests throughout the event.
The commendable event was organized by Ms Tiina Luckins, Ms Susie Macmillan and Ms Jennifer Sheppard and volunteers.

Talented duo, Vivienne Steur and Guenther Koffling displayed their talents in rock n roll to entertain guests. Meanwhile, guests were also feted to a scrumptious brunch spread.
According to the organizing committee, they are committed in their mission to raise awareness and funds to support individuals in Penang challenged with cancer.
:This is the fourth year we are organizing this charity event and it is good to see a such a fantastic support and turnout. We are also working with several international schools here to raise awareness on cancer. They have participated in educational and fun pink activity, “Wear Pink Days and other fundraising activities,” added Luckins.
The funds raising activities are on-going and corporate organizations and and individuals are welcomed to to do their part.
