Penang CM joining Jagdeep for a cake cutting ceremony

It was time to rejoice and show appreciation to supporters and volunteers for the state election win in the recent PRN 15 for N29 Datuk Keramat constituency.
The new Penang Deputy Chief Minister II YB Jagdeep Singh Deo was joined by Penang Chief Minister YAB Chow Kon Yeow and a host of exco members and assemblymen.
The dinner gathering was held at the Berjaya Hotel here. In all, some 300 people gathered at the ceremony.
Among them were YB Ram Karpal Singh, State Exco Zairil Khir Johari, State Exco Dato Seri Rajoo, State Exco Lim Siew Khim, State Exco Daniel Gooi, YB Connie Tan, Penang Mayor Dato A Rajendran among others.
In his appreciation address, Jagdeep said that they are back to work after the campaign period.
“I also take this opportunity to sincerely thank my mother and my wife for their support and sacrifices.
“I am humbled by the support and encouragement by all in the team. I also am grateful to the Chief Minister for his trust and encouragement. Now, it is time to get the job done, as my father used to say,” added Jagdeep.
Meanwhile, Chow thanked the host YB Jagdeep Singh for the fine dinner and gathering.
“It is time to show appreciation to all campaign workers and volunteers.
“There are challenges ahead for the country as a whole. Whereas in Penang, we have returned for the fourth time. We have to be mindful so that the people will be on our side and continue to support us.
“We are entrusted with the mandate and now it is time to deliver our promises and realise Vision 2030.
“I also congratulate YB Jagdeep on the victory and now he has added responsibilities to ensure all electoral promises are delivered,” said Chow.
Jagdeep also presented tokens of appreciation to each and every volunteer who had served during the recent campaign period for their services.
