The Penang Eurasian Association (PEA) hosted a joyous Easter Dinner and Dance 2023 at the Berjaya Hotel here.
More than 350 guests attended the celebration clad in their red and white dress code.
Guest of honour was State Exco for Housing, Local Government, Town and Country Planning YB Jagdeep Singh Deo. Also present was the state assemblyman for Pulau Tikus, YB Chris Lee and Pengkalan Kota assemblyman YB Daniel Gooi.
PEA president Dato Aloysius Gasper thanked members, sponsors and well-wishers for their kind presence.
“Your support and well wishes has made our Easter celebrations very special this year. We also convey our kind regards to Berjaya Hotel for their support too,” said Gasper.
Highlight of the evening was the presentation of the mock cheque for RM10,000 from YB Jagdeep who also topped up the contribution by another RM10,000 to make the total donation to RM20,000.
Entertainment for the evening was led by the “Elvis of Malaysia” followed by a Dutch auction, raffle draw and live band performance.
Proceeds from the Dutch auction will go to the Little Sister of the Poor home.
Meanwhile, door gifts were sponsored by Starbucks thanks to their CEO Dato Sydney Quays.
