The main concourse of the Sunway Carnival Mall is decorated with some colourful traditional setting to remind shoppers of their kampung homes.
This year, the mall ushers in Hari Raya celebrations with their theme, “Riuh Ria” Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebration.
There will be exclusive festive redemptions, graffiti art showcases, Raya bazaar, exciting workshops and more await you from 8 April until 8 May 2022.
The ‘Riuh Ria Raya’ promotion was launched recently (April 21, 2022) with a list of VIP guests.
Among them were the general manager of Sunway Carnival Mall, Chai Wen Yew along with the presence of Federal Agriculture and Marketing Authority (FAMA Penang), represented by Mohd Azraie Ramli and Norhisham Ramli, Deputy Director of Penang State Bumiputera Sectoral, Coordination and Development Division (BPPBPP).
They joined hands to release colourful confetti to mark the launching.
“We are delighted that we are able to come together again after muted celebrations in the last two years due to the COVID-19 pandemic. And we hope that the ‘Riuh Ria Raya’ celebration can be as merry and festive as possible to get everyone in the mood,” said Chai.
The guests later toured the various stalls set-up to accentuate the atmosphere. Raya bazaar and exciting workshops and more await you from now until 8 May 2022.
